Recognition from India's selectors came early for Siddharth Trivedi. He made his first-class debut only in the 2002-03 seasons, and his nippy medium-pace also earned him a slot at the ICC under-19 World Cup in early 2002, where he took nine wickets in seven games. Noticed as one of India's promising youngsters, he won the Border-Gavaskar Scholarship to train for five weeks at the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy in Australia. On his return to India, he was drafted into the ranks of India B for the 2003 Challenger Trophy. He was considered a significant ingredient in the formula for success in the IPL's first season, a match against the Mumbai Indians was one in particular that he shone prominently to win the game for Rajasthan Royals. To hold his own while bowling alongside with more established international names in Sohail Tanvir, Shane Watson and Shane Warne himself, Trivedi has shown enough to suggest he will continue to play a significant role for the team.

“I appreciate the commitment of team management in the development of quality players and providing competitive platform to each player.”
Siddharth Trivedi
"After the state team, if there is a team that any Amdavadi youngster aspires to play for, it is Starlets. If you are playing for Starlets, you are treated with certain amount of respect in local cricketing circle. I play with the same passion for starlets as I do for Rajasthan Royals or Gujarat."
Amit Singh
"Young Starlets - The name comprises two things, Young and Star. The team management always gives opportunity to young talents along with emerging stars. I heard a lot of this team when I started my cricket in Ahmedabad and I thought one day I will definitely play for this team and feel the difference. It is a wonderful experience to be the part of team YOUNG STARLETS"
